EventPro Strategies, the leader in experiential marketing event staffing, provided top-notch brand ambassadors to promote the finalists in the Lay’s Do Us a Flavor Taste of America contest. For the third consecutive year, Lay’s invited Americans to enter the contest by submitting a unique chip flavor, and this year, contestants were asked to submit flavors based on inspirations or tastes from U.S. regions. Four finalists were announced in July and since that time, Lay’s has launched a massive social media campaign to promote the four flavors and contest voting.
The EPS Brand Ambassadors set up shop at the entertainment complex, LA Live in Los Angeles, and quickly began distributing samples of the four finalist’s flavors: Southern Biscuits and Gravy, West Coast Truffle Fries, Greektown Gyro and New York Reuben. As consumers tested out the flavors, the brand ambassadors encouraged them to cast their vote for their favorite flavor by visiting the Do Us a Flavor website, sending a text, or to hashtag their favorite flavor on Instagram and Twitter. Consumers were thrilled to test out the new flavors and the brand ambassadors had a great time promoting the contest!
