Founder & CEO

Jessica is a visionary leader with over 20 years of experience in event and experiential marketing. She leads EventPro Strategies’ strategic plan, high-level strategic business development, expansion and acquisition efforts, marketing, public relations and EPS brand ambassadorship.

Jessica’s primary role is CEO and making clients look the best they can in the field. To achieve this, Jessica focuses on burgeoning new standards in technology, industry consolidations, client services, project management, quality control, scalability, and implementation of new measurement methodologies. Jessica is known in the industry for constantly pushing the bar to new levels each and every year.

“Our capital investments in training, processes, and custom technology and measurement applications thrusts EventPro Strategies to the cutting edge of this industry,” she says.

Just as important, EPS is known as a premium agency in its niche, and for having world-class team members (in-house and in the field), services, values, and plenty of juju (passion/experience/collaborative energy).
When EventPro Strategies was founded, experiential marketing was still considered an emerging discipline. Since then, Jessica has guided the evolution of EventPro Strategies from a one-woman shop to the new standard in US and Canadian staffing and execution for this incredible niche industry. She is very proud of her EPS family and consistently notes that the culture at EventPro Strategies is deep, fluid, and amazing. “We truly are unique. It just doesn’t get any better than this,” she says.

Before founding EventPro Strategies in 1999, Jessica learned the industry from the ground up while freelancing for several years as a tour manager, market manager, and event producer for brands including Coca-Cola, EA Sports, Kraft, Proctor and Gamble, and Reebok. Jessica made a name for herself in the industry as one of the first female tour managers.

Jessica is an active member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO). She is a 2007 graduate of MIT’s prestigious 3-year Entrepreneurial Masters Certification Program. Based on the book Outliers, Jessica is an industry expert having personally logged more than 50,000 hours to date solely in the experiential/event marketing industry with a focus on staffing, execution and project management.

Traci Danek

Traci Danek

Chief Operating Officer

Traci joins EPS with more than 11 years of experience developing and overseeing go-to-market operations, shared services consulting and outsourcing solutions. She brings with her extensive knowledge in project management, process improvement, customer service, regulatory compliance, quality assurance and training. Traci strives to promote operational excellence through innovation and efficiency.

Prior to joining EPS, Traci was a member of the executive team at CampusLogic, Inc. where she oversaw the organization’s business development, solution identification, transitions and operations for the higher education division. Most recently, she led efforts to create a shared services center at the Education Management Corporation where she established consistent business processes, operational metrics and reporting across the Student Financial Services departments.

Traci holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Northern Arizona University and has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Outside of the office Traci enjoys a busy schedule with her husband and daughter. She volunteers her time and efforts to Team RWB and their mission of enriching the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity. Traci also enjoys spending time reading, cooking, hiking, and running.

Charlie Shoemake

Charlie Shoemake

Chief Financial Officer

Charlie joins EPS with over 35 years of accounting and finance experience across a variety of service industries including banking, receivables management, and real estate. He is a seasoned operating finance executive that brings a strong emphasis on business intelligence and management reporting coupled with a solid foundation in accounting practice and principles to the EPS team.

Prior to joining EPS, Charlie was the CFO for a large, privately-held receivables management company and Senior Vice President and CFO of the Corporate Banking Division of PNC Financial Services, Inc., a top 10 U.S. bank. Most recently, he was a senior consultant with a national consulting firm working on several accounting and BI projects for a top tier financial services company.

Charlie earned both a BS in Accounting, with Honors, and an MBA in Finance from Indiana University. He began his career with KPMG, where he successfully completed his CPA requirements.

He lives in Scottsdale, AZ with his wife Sabra and is an avid golfer. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Southwest Senior Golf Association and was also a director for the Junior Golf Association of Arizona. He enjoys biking, hiking and sailing.

Kelly Springs Kelley

Director of Marketing

Kelly brings over 14 years’ experience in marketing, experiential marketing and journalism to the EventPro Strategies team. Kelly is responsible for developing and executing EventPro Strategies' marketing, public relations and strategic growth inititatives aimed at corporate development. From overseeing SEO/SEM and creating marketing content to developing overall marketing and brand strategy, Kelly is focused on accelerating EPS' growth and leadership in the experiential marketing industry.

Prior to working at EPS, Kelly worked in marketing development in the insurance industry, working with agents out in the field and assisting them in lead-generation, as well as creating and maintaining their own individual businesses. She saw success in being able to combine people, business and marketing development while delivering a consistent brand strategy that was both scalable and effective.

Kelly lives in Phoenix with her husband, daughter, son and two dogs. She is an avid runner and is currently training for her first full marathon.

Lisa Major

Manager, Social Media and Talent Relations

Lisa is a seasoned experiential marketing and recruitment professional and has worked with EventPro Strategies for the past 14 years, making her the company’s most tenured team member. Throughout this time, Lisa has held several roles at EPS, giving her a comprehensive knowledge of the experiential marketing industry as a whole.

Lisa began her career with EPS in 2002 and, in 2005, became the company’s first Senior Program Coordinator, managing some of EPS’ largest key accounts. Having worked with EventPro Strategies during the company’s first years, Lisa was also directly involved in the initial building of EPS’ extensive database of tens of thousands of talent. Four years later, when EPS experienced tremendous growth, Lisa accepted the position of Talent Relations Coordinator and used her experience in recruitment, event staffing and relationship building to further expand EPS’ database.

In 2013, Lisa was promoted to Manager of Social Media and Talent Relations. In her new role, Lisa continues with talent relations and recruitment while utilizing her knowledge of social media, on-line recruitment and public relations to elevate EPS’ social media presence and on-line community engagement.

Lisa lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband, son and two cats, and enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, exploring the outdoors and being physically active. She is a lifelong Atlanta Braves fan.

Tanya Groff

Tanya Groff

Director of Operations

Tanya brings over 8 years of experience in promotions and event marketing to the EPS team. From small events to working in radio, Tanya’s diverse skill set in management and customer service is invaluable. Tanya loves the amazing energy in the EPS office and strives to create a positive, open-door working environment for everyone on our tight-knit team, both in the office and in the field.

Originally from Tucson, Tanya attended Central Arizona College on a softball scholarship and graduated with an associate’s degree in public relations. She later graduated with a bachelor’s degree in media arts with a minor in marketing.

A huge sports fan (go Cardinals!), Tanya enjoys football, basketball and baseball. In her spare time you fill find her hiking, going to the gym, watching movies and traveling, as well as spending time with family and friends or volunteering for her favorite causes.
