Airports - MasterCard

When American Airlines switched its affinity credit card to Citibank and MasterCard, it knew it would be a challenge to educate consumers, change behavior and drive applications for their new Executive card offering. So who do you turn to as a turnkey solution to execute a program in nearly (40) American Airlines Admiral Lounges…at airports in major metropolitan markets…spanning four time zones…activating everyday….for three months straight...you turn to us!

Our team was responsible for placing and managing nearly (100) brand ambassadors beyond TSA Security checkpoints on behalf of Citibank, MasterCard and American Airlines in markets including:

Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Buffalo, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Greensboro, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New York, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Raleigh, San Diego, San Francisco, St. Louis, Washington D.C. – just to name a few.

Each airport team drove registrations/sign-ups and conversations for new AAdvantage cardholders as well as previous AMEX cardholders. Staff were responsible for targeting business travelers and touting the 100,000 mile sign-up bonus in addition to the unlimited lounge access among dozens of other card perks.

Over the course of the original program and an extension, this seven day a week program became an award-winning campaign for our clients and partners by showcasing the power of grassroots marketing.
